For more details of the role of parish councils click here For contact details for the Moreton Morrell Parish Council click here The Parish Plan and Village Design Statement document was presented to Stratford District Council for adoption in January 2007. The council praised the document for being of an exceptionally high standard and one of the best that they have seen. The council agreed to formally adopt it for planning purposes and have passed a copy to the Planning department. In addition, they are planning to distribute it more widely within the council for future consideration in other matters as well. Many thanks go to Roger Wright who was very supportive of the committee in presenting the document to the Stratford District Council. Moreton Morrell Parish Council also agreed to formally adopt the document and continue to drive the action plans to conclusion. Thanks go to all villagers who took the time to attend events and provide invaluable input and feedback to this document. The Village Plan Committee has now been disbanded.
