Am I ready for Sex?
If you're not sure, you're not ready. When in doubt, don't; you can always change your mind. Once you do it, it cannot be undone. You're ready to have sex when you're ready to be responsible. That includes being responsible about three things:
- The effect of having sex on your relationship
- Birth control
- Sexually transmitted diseases
Sex is for responsible people. Unless you can be mature about it, you should probably wait.
You can choose to be irresponsible about having sex. This has many consequences including the possibility of unplanned pregnancy or sexually transmitted disease. One of the largest costs can be losing the chance to have sex be as magical and wonderful as it can be.
