SNEEZING
You know what it is. The question is how you can stop a sneeze that threatens to disturb the tranquility of your environment. It may be a particularly sensitive point in a movie or play and you really don't want to steal the focus with a loud sneeze.
It's almost always possible to prevent a sneeze. Use your finger to press hard in the midline between your upper lip and your nose. This is a special accupuncture point known as the GV (Governing Vessel) 26 Ren Zhong.
After a sneeze people often say "Bless you!" Do you know why?
In the middle ages people believed that when you sneezed your soul left your body for a brief time. If the devil was in the area patrolling for souls he might capture it while it was unattached. As soon as someone said, "God bless you!" the soul would be returned safely to the body.
