Banbury Canal Day has grown from a local event into one that attracts visitors from all over the country. Banbury link. | |
| 6th October 2010 | Another opportunity to meet an influential personality in the motor biking fraternity. Austin Vince, the man behind a number of cult biking movies and an early rider on the "Road of Bones" is at the Coventry Transport Museum. Its £5 on the door but you need to pre-book a seat, details on their website. | 7 Miles |
| 15th to 17th October 2010 | The Weston Beach Race. As spectators sorting your accommodation is the challenge here. Planning and booking is essential as B&Bs and the like get booked a year in advance, that on its own should be clue enough to just how popular this event is! | 114 Miles |

16th & 17th October 2010 |
Another waterways event, the Stourbridge Navigation Trust Open Weekend. Free admission, 10am till 5pm, boat rides and all the usual fare, this is their 27th annual event so it should be good. | 26 Miles |

17th October 2010 |
The annual Hoggin the Bridge 2010, thousands of bikers from across the UK & Europe form a huge convoy over the bridge and then following a route to Chepstow where the town centre is given over to stalls and bands. The run starts from the Severn View services at 11am Sunday, pre book your place for a "T" shirt else just turn up on the day. While this is a Harley event it is open to all. | 92 Miles |

The NEC Bike Show 2010, You know the format, trade stands, "All" major manufacturers and events in the arena. Free parking for bikes but expect to pay through the nose for everything else. They say they have been listening, that will have been to the tills not ringing last year. |

| 11th & 12th Dec 2010 | The first motocross beach race to be held in Skegness. Check out their events diary and the AMCA page for all the details. It's a free event for spectators and it sounds like there's plenty of effort going into making it a worthy diary entry. | 122 Miles |
