This is an interesting day out with plenty with  to see in pleasant surroundings. Adults £5 ankle biters £3, gates open at 10am.

25th May 2009 The date has been set again for the world-famous Gloucestershire Cheese Rolling, which will see 8lb of Double Gloucester bouncing it's way down Cooper's Hill once again on the May bank holiday. You need to get there really early, we went in 2008 and failed to get within 10 miles of the place and that was on a day when it rained and blew gales. After what seemed like hours of standing still we timed out and went on to have a great day at the Tetbury Woolsack Races.  66 Miles
25th May 2009 World Championship Woolsack Races. Tetbury, holds an annual event on the May Bank Holiday. Teams carry a 60lb woolsack up and down Gumstool Hill between two pubs. (See their photo page) Some nice pubs to for spectators to stand outside and marching bands to entertain.  71 Miles

The Bonneville Celebration  This August  the Triumph Bonneville will be 50 years old and to celebrate there is an event happening at the The Heritage Motor Centre, in Gaydon. It is an all weekend event with things happening through the day and into the night. There will be camping on site as well. There doesn’t seem to be a day ticket price, £25 is a bit steep for just a few hours. Else for a full weekend it looks like a good programme...
