CYCLING FROM LE MOULIN DE SAQUET |
|
Stretching from Latresne to Sauveterre-de-Guyenne over 60 km, the Roger Lapébie cycle path offers a particularly appealing way of exploring l’Entre-Deux-Mers. This well-surfaced pathway, constructed on the previous route of a railway, passes through sun and shade, woodland and open vineyards. It traverses pretty villages and towns, and provides the chance to stop off to visit abbeys, churches, swimming lakes, potteries, Chateaux and museums. At nearby Espiet there is the chance to call in at the Old Station for a spot of lunch or a cold drink. |

We can also provide you with suggested tours of varying length and difficulty, and with a choice of terrains, on the minor roads. Lunchtime picnics and, of course, our 3-course evening meals will complete your day. |

Local bike hire is available at nearby Créon together with child seats and baby trailers. (See rates below.) If you think you might like to hire bikes during your stay with us, please let us know at least one month in advance of your visit so that we can be sure your bikes are available for you. Should you decide to bring your own bikes, we have secure garaging facilities. |
