The Big Birmingham Morris Caper
14th April 2007

After extensive planning the morning of the fourteenth came. There was no going back now. Over forty teams from the three national morris organisations met in the city centre for what turned out to be a marvellous day.

The sun shone and as the clock neared 10am Victoria Square quickly filled up with dance groups from around the country. It was a sight to behold. Teams met up with marshals and on the hour the day of dance began. The whole city was transformed in to a spectacle of music, colour and movement.
