Naming Cells
 

You will have used a FORMULA in a cell to work out a calculation

It is sometimes useful to use a named cell in a formula.

The next two spreadsheets look at how to name a cell and how that is useful when used in a formula.
 

There are two spreadsheets to look at.

The first looks at how to name a cell and the second one looks at how to use named cells in a formula
 

• Click Here with the RIGHT HAND BUTTON and select "Save Target As"
• Save the document in to your current year's ICT folder in My Documents
• You can now click on the Open button
• You will now have a spreadsheet on your screen with instructions on each worksheet

• Click here with the RIGHT HAND BUTTON for the second spreadsheet and select "Save Target As"
• Save it in your current year's ICT folder in My Documents
• You can now click on the Open button
• Follow the instructions on each worksheet
