Estate Agent's Brochure - Communicating with Text and Graphics

If you go in to an Estate Agent's office you will see lots of information leaflets giving details about properties that are for sale.

Your next task is to design a leaflet giving information about a house that is for sale.

You can use information taken from an example leaflet or you can make up the house.

You might want to base it on your own house or a relative or friends house.

When communicating with text and graphics make sure that you set yourself standards. The information must not have any mistakes.

It must be clear and easy to read. Do not use lots of different fonts. Two maximum.

For this exercise you are aiming to write about something for sale in a POSITIVE way

• Use a desk top publishing programme to do this task (Publisher)
• Turn a blank A4 page to "landscape" view
• Look at the plan below. The right hand side of page one will be the front of you leaflet

• Put the main house details on the front of your leaflet along with your company logo
• On the back of your leaflet put the Estate Agent's details
• Add another page (page 2) and on this page describe the house in more detail
