Estate Agent's Topic - Setting up a House Database

The first thing to do is to load up the Microsoft Access program. When it loads up click on "Create New File" in the right hand help pane and then click on "Blank Database". Call the file "House Database" and save it in your yr8 ict folder.

The First thing that you have to do on a new database is set up any tables to hold information. the house database will have TWO tables.


Instructions to Start Making the Tables.

Table 1 - This will have 1 field only

Type of House Text 20


When you have created this table click on the disc ikon to save it and give it the name "tblhousetype"

Then open this table in "datasheet view" and enter the following records:

Other
