Plough Farm Holiday Centre - Setting
up a home page for the Holiday Centre
Task: Put a Table on to your web page to help place things where you want them to be...
Putting text and pictures on a web page is not as easy as using Publisher or
Word.
You can not just drag them to where you want them to be.
One of the best ways to place things on a page is to use a table.
Web designers use tables all the time to do this.
Step by Step Guide to get Started
1 Make sure your Plough Farm Web Page
Loaded in to Microsoft Front Page
2
Click on the "Table" go to "Insert" and then "Table"
3 Choose how many columns and rows you want in your table
4 To make the table invisible change the border size to 0
5 Then click on OK if you can see that button or you can press
the "Enter" key
Click Here to see an example of how to set up the Table Menu
You will now have a table on your web page.
You can decide which cells you can put things in to.
You can now use the Plough Farm Details below to complete the first page about the Plough Farm Holiday Centre.
