The weather poster task uses the your knowledge of how to search for information.

You can then use information that you find to design a poster that could be used in the Plough Farm Reception or shop to inform holiday makers what the weather will be like for the next 24 hours.

This is Communicating to the General Public using Text and Graphics.

• Go the the following website: www.meto.gov.uk
• Copy and paste the Plough Farm Logo above on to your poster...
• Find out the weather forecast for Somerset for the next 24 hours (The West Country)
• You can copy and paste some information that you find about the weather forecast on to a Publisher page
• You can copy and paste a weather map on to your poster
• You might want to copy and paste a satellite photograph of the weather
• Remember to include the day and date on your poster!

REMEMBER

Your poster must contain accurate information
It must be clear to read using sentences
It should be laid out clearly not using too many different fonts
You may wish to use simple borders around some bits of information
