About the Photographer

Hello - first things first.
Yes, my name really is Miss Moneypenny. ![]()
I was born, Christine Moneypenny, in London to the most loving parents a child could wish to have. In 1986 I moved with my husband and young family to Monmouth, South Wales - a most beautiful part of the country and perfect for photography.
I have always been interested in photography but it is only the past few years that I have had the opportunity to really practice the art.
I love life, and try to enjoy every moment of it and of course, having a surname like Moneypenny - I 've had to have a sense of humour. I am, however, very serious about my photography but I also like to inject a little humour into it now and then - check out the Fred Bear page, it's a perfect example.
I have no particular subject preference, although I do tend to shoot some more than others. At the very beginning of the year 2000 I compiled a Millennium Photographic exhibition - exhibiting shots of the varied hobbies of people local to Monmouth. It was hard work but was very well received and was attended by local dignitaries such as the the Mayoress of Monmouth, cllr Mrs Eileen Goodrich, and the MP for Monmouth, Mr David Davies. I have ocassionally been asked to photograph celebrities and recently had the privilege to meet and talk to Prince Edward - HRH the Earl of Wessex.

Other celebrities I have photographed include Peter Andre and David Davies MP.
