Scandinavia.  Trough is moving W across the Br.Isles, followed by clearer
and drier air. Pressure remains low in the Mediterranean and near the
Azores.

Snow fell in many places during the whole period but was more in the form of
showers in the N.

Forecast:

Very cold in the S with unbroken frost, severe at night.  A little less cold
elsewhere with day temperatures just above zero.  Bright intervals away from
the E coast but all places are liable to have snow showers, heavy at times
with moderate to heavy falls in parts of the S.
