Deep lows have been moving NE across the Atlantic over the Iceland region,
around the high, 1044 mb, centred over Poland. Frontal systems are
stalling as they approach the Br.Isles from the W, but are moving quickly E
across N Scandinavia.

Dry and very sunny in the E and S with Boscombe Down recording 9.8 hrs,
Gatwick 9.3 hrs and Manchester 9.5 hrs, but the far W and N were cloudy all
day and night.
