Engine

The new engine was fitted in July 2004. It has now been fitted with a gas flowed head and is working well!

General

The B series engine is a relatively simple engine. Since the original engine started to show real problems, with low oil pressure and two broken valves, I had been planning to build my self a replacement unit. This was finished and fitted in July 2004. Many more details here. The engine has been over-bored to 1860cc and fitted with a new Piper 270 camshaft. The gas flowed head from the original engine was then sorted and fitted to give me a stage 2 engine on the cheap!
