On a sunny Wednesday evening in June Area 20 welcomed National President Mandy and her driver Sue to their Area Sporting Challenge. The evening was billed as a Fire & Water night & mutterings were heard that the fire must be the BBQ so what was the water?
All was revealed with bin bags, candles & water pistols! The aim to put out your opponents candle before they put out yours. It’s surprising how competitive a group of ladies can be with a 99p water pistol from Tesco’s!!
The Winners were Ashbourne, 2nd City of Nottingham & 3rd Long Eaton. Everyone got wet and our thanks went to Long Eaton Round Table for providing the catering & water pistol loading staff.
Hopefully Mandy dried off as she drove back down the M42!!
