A few hardy souls (Dick, Chris, Kath, Ross, Lynn, Brian, and a colleague of Brian’s from Kew) turned out on what turned out to be a searingly hot summer Sunday, for a botanical recording walk around the edge of the vineyard to the west of the winery, taking in a section of the North Downs way which was thankfully well shaded. We were rewarded by finding around 90 species (listed below). (Some of us could not resist a trip around the winery shop afterwards – and can highly recommend the Denbies white wines!)
