The Oblong-leaved Sundew Drosera intermedia is more localised in the South-east and slightly smaller than most common Round-leaved Sundew.  The inflorescences in this picture are only about an inch long, arising characteristically from the side of the rosettes, and are about to bloom.

Flower Walk - 8 June '08 - Molesey Heath

Apion rubens gall, on Rumex acetosella caused by a rare weevil specific to Rumex acetosella, Sheep's Sorrel, producing swellings on leaves' midrib.  In this case the host plant was a little strange one, which did not quite key out to it, possibly a close hybrid or a garden cultivar of Sheep's Sorrel, in any case something close to it.
