Normally - The STILL is played on the Boatswains (Bosun's) Call or the appropriate bugle call made, With an announcement on the ships tannoy (loudspeaker system).
All on the open decks face aft and come to attention and salute.
The White Ensign is lowered
Then the CARRY ON then come top attention

Amongst the most emotive of ceremonies, that rests forever in a Matelots memories is the official one carried out in full by a Royal Marine Band.
