Through a nomination by Northamptonshire Sport, Shirley Chapman was invited to attend a garden party at Buckingham Palace. A very great honour, one she will remember for a long time. Together with her eldest daughter Sarah, they had a wonderful day, the sun shone and they saw the Queen at very close quarters.
