Biography Nicholas Cass-Beggs was born in Montreal Canada to English parents. He trained as an actor at the Oxford School of Drama (2002-2005) where he received the Sir John Geilgud Trust Scholarship. Now based in London, Nicholas has performed as an actor on the London and Edinburgh Fringe and on the West End. His credits include Antigone at the Manchester Royal Exchange, The Snowman at the Peacock Theatre and Tour to Seoul, The Pajama Game at the Union Theatre, The Rakes Progress & Orlando for the Royal Opera House, Kismet at the ENO, and Trailer at Camden Peoples Theatre. Trailer, which Nicholas helped to devise, was awarded the “discovery prise” at the MIMOS festival in France in 2006. Prior to becoming an actor Nicholas had a career as a contemporary dancer in Germany that spanned eight years. His dance credits include five years as a soloist with Philip Taylor’s Ballet Theatre Munich (1997-2002) and three years with Ballett Nordhausen (1994-97). |
