You can increase your chances of finding the musician or band you are after

  • Get the point across on the subject line...
  • Use the subject line to sell yourself to the right person - tell them what they need to know about you.

People are less likely to open an advert which doesn't tell them very much...

Remember some people will use a search so make sure the main part of your entry includes useful information about your instrument and tastes, use the simplest and most common words for things. The search wont care if your advert is in capitals or lower case letters and it will look in both the subject line and the main text.

Examples of phrases which need extra keywords to work well with a search

You don't have to write your entire entry like this just make sure the keywords get included somewhere in the text, if you like just list them on the last line of your advert

    Example...

Jamie, top axe man wants to get together with others for band, Floyd, Zep you know the score,
    call me on 0121 111 1111

keywords - rock Watford Hertfordshire guitar guitarist

And finally - Good Luck !!!

P.S. Musicians Web is run on a totally voluntary basis by musicians for musicians we are not funded - our growth is dependent entirely on musicians helping us in return. If you have a printer could you spare...
