I love old lists that contain names
and places. Maybe I'm just nosey but each time I come across them I
can't help looking for my ancestors! Maybe you feel the same - if so get
along to my Lists section now!
Have a look at my family history in My
Ancestors Section. Check out my Blair line and other related
names including Christie, Masson and Knowles. If your from the Peterhead
area you might be interested in my paternal ancestors with names such as
Milne, Mess, Stothart and Hay.
During my family research I've come across numerous bits and pieces
that were interesting, but not relevant to my own work. But why waste
them? So I've listed some of them here, in my Odds &
Ends section.
Now and again I come across the odd photo, showing a school class or
a local view, gleaned mostly from books or the local papers. Always
worth a look. Find them in my Photos page.
I do a lot of graveyard research - part of which involves taking
photos of all the gravestones. Sometimes I find a family stone that
refers to a different district. For whatever reason they have been
buried away from this home place. Perhaps you've been searching for such
a stone but failed to find it. Perhaps its in my
Strays section!
Well there are other web pages around! Hard to keep them up to date
in the ever changing world of the internet. Nevertheless here is my
