NEWINGTON PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

LIMESTONE ROAD, BELFAST

Newington has a history of worship and fellowship dating back to 1875 when the Church was opened. The first minister to be installed was the Rev John Waddell BA.

It was destroyed in 1941 during the blitz on Belfast and in 1951 the foundation stones were laid for the new church. The new church was opened in 1952 and has been occupied ever since.

Our current Minister Rev David McIlwaine was installed in October 2007
