But either way, that poses some fearful questions in itself. For if science has been cynically manipulated by governments; and to reiterate, I have not personally heard about it, then why
have they been allowed to mislead a trusting public, with these indefensible government cover-ups?
On the other hand, if science itself has not identified the intransigent problem that face us in constructing ufos, then how can the public have faith, and allow these individuals and institutions to continue with such a lack of fundamental credibility? Either way, we face a dilemma. We might assume then, that where we went wrong, was not so much in our intellectual approach to this huge problem of universal travel, but more in trusting those whom asked us to place our trust and faith in them. Therefore, if we truly do wish to put things right, and construct spacecraft to reach out and explore that extensive ether, some
simply describe as space, then first we must approach the problem from a more open minded observation. We must not allow ourselves to be held back merely by rhetoric. Where would civilisation be today if Columbus listened to them running along the quay side?
Where would cosmology be today if they had continued with sciences postulate of the geocentric system: (The Earth at the centre, the sun and planets orbiting around it).
We should never forget, even as science derides any new theory, that most of what science endorses today, is only a reworking of its own, former beliefs. It's easy for scientists to ridicule any new idea, and shy away from the mistakes they made in the past. And in all honesty, I think with exploration spacecraft moving beyond our own remit, science will once again have to reassess its former views. But that doesn't mean we should throw the baby out with the bath water. Science has been a valuable contributor over the years. It has worked diligently with an unerring application, and sought, I believe, where possible to advance us.
But that shouldn't mean we are prohibited from searching for lateral alternatives ourselves. We spoke in the opening chapters about how careers can be resigned to the bin, simply by making an outrageous statement.
And from that belief
we will not detract, although some might contest it. But that insatiable dilettantist approach must reign paramount in our basic evaluation of how we construct these said spacecraft. Let's imagine we were around during world war 2, them pilots reports have found their way to our desk, and we investigate, No doubt, initially, like those intelligence services of the time, we would conclude the other side may have some profound piece of new technology.
After the war finished we might investigate further. At that point we could deduce, logically if you ask me, they didn't. We should therefore assume, if they never possessed such technology; nor did we, we may have to explore other alternative thought. We know from science fiction literature ufos were not unheard of: The first reported metallic airborne object was actually logged on 8/12/1733 in Dorset, as a large silver disc in the sky! Not as many believe by an American pilot in 1948. Yet if this is the case, we must naturally ask: How the hell did these spacecraft get here? And how can they do what they do!
It's inconceivable to believe we would construct rockets at this point; therefore we should look towards the velocity of light, and simply say: If these spaceships and spacecraft originate from outside our world they must travel here at beyond that speed. And if they achieve that phenomenal feat, the speed of light itself cannot be a constant in a vacuum. and in conclusion, Einsteinian special relativity must be wrong, for any other answer is totally absurd. To progress further, we would then need to sit ourselves down and do the theory.
We showed this possible in our chapter on time. But to take us through them stages we need a further insight in how to construct this hypothesis, otherwise spaceships as we might term them simply can never make the journey here.
To show how this works, grab yourself a piece of plain white paper and a pencil: Turn it length ways. Now, at one end draw a circle to represent a star: Write Star A above it; then at the other end draw another circle, and write Star B. If you now place an X central to both of them, you will see two bodies with an X marking the central point. From this X, I would like vou to draw a thin line towards Star A with an arrow on top. Now draw an
