Ruby is a character belonging to my friend PinkAya, whose SoulAngel project I worked hard on fanart for. Ruby is a fun character to draw and I really enjoyed completing this fanart because it was a concept I'd been thinking about doing for some time.

This piece was done in Corel Painter 8 using the program's airbrushes. I painted the blocks of colour without drawing the image first, which was a fairly new method to me. It didnt turn out too badly, but I wish I'd taken more time to finish it.
