She was bought at 4 months old and chosen because of her lovely dark brown colouring, which has now sadly become rare in the breed.
Due to missing out on her early socialisation she never gained the confidence needed for the show ring and sadly due to her steadfast refusal to retrieve was never able to compete in obedience competition.
She was none the less a very loyal and loving dog and gave me many years of pleasure. She was always challenging Benson for the "top dog" position, which she took over on his death and which she maintained until her death in September 2001.
