Do you want a website but don’t know where to start, or haven’t got the time? Let me design and build your website for you, from a simple, single page site to more complicated multi-page sites. With over 300 designs to choose from, with hundreds of buttons, arrows, headings, fonts etc., *accept all major Credit Cards with Paypal or NoChex, show your eBay listings, the possibilities are endless! NOW is the time to get on the internet, either to have a homepage where your family and friends can access to see photographs, keep up with the family news and so on, from anywhere in the world, or for promotional purposes, selling opportunities etc. etc.

If you already have a website but don't have the time to update it, or it is in need of a 'make-over', I will happily take over the maintainance of your site for you, at a reasonable rate.

Fees for this service vary from about £50 for a simple homepage; up to £500 or so for a more complex version. As a rough guide it's approximately £50 per page, depending on the content, amount of links etc. All you need then is a hosting package and a Domain Name, both of which I can set up for you if required. You can get a basic package from approx. £6 a month, for a 1000 mb *web space with a monthly **bandwidth of 10 gb, and you will get your ***Domain Name free for the first 12 months. I use Lycos for my hosting packages.

I can arrange to come along and take photographs to be used on the site, talk about design, graphics, content etc. or via email, if you are not local. If you want I can then update and maintain the site for you at a very reasonable cost, or you can purchase a software package, such as Macromedia Dreamweaver, and maintain it yourself. Alternatively, hosting companies have their own WebFTP Client tool enabling you to upload files. If you would like to purchase Dreamweaver I'll even show you the basics, if you would like me to.

I am not a fan of "all singing, all dancing" web sites with animations,floating navigation bars etc.so if that's what you're after I'm probably not your man, although I'll try anything once. One of the important things to remember when building a web site is to keep it simple. I believe in an open, friendly approach, as you can hopefully tell. I have tried to get quotes, in the past, for web design from the 'professionals' and found it very difficult, having to give all my personal details in emails (date of birth, blood group, start sign etc.) and then wait for replies, some of which never arrived, all a bit daunting. I’m sure you will find my prices reasonable, nothing is fixed, and we can always negotiate, I believe in charging a fair amount for a fair job.
