I design and make stained glass windows for both secular and ecclesiastical settings.
Clients are welcome to request further images of completed works in the form of slides or printed material. I am always pleased to attend any initial meetings to discuss ideas with a client.
Site visits are an important part of the commissioning process, It is important to be able to assess the type and amount of light within an area. This will effect the design and types of glass used.
I am happy for clients to offer their own ideas for the theme of a window and to help select colours which suit their interior.
I prepare sketches and produce a colour palette of samples for the client to see. Clients are always welcome to visit the studio to see their window being made and are made to feel involved in the commissioning process.
I am a member of the British Society of Master Glass Painters. As an elected Fellow my work has been judged for design ability and competence in the making of stained glass. My work has been approved by a senior panel of professional peers. This entitles me to use the letters F.M.G.P. after my name. The society has its own web site at www.bsmgp.org.uk where my work is featured and there is more information about the work of the society.
