The memorial stone at this small country church reads "1925-1970 to those airmen of the British Commonwealth and German air forces who fell from the skies either in combat or by accident and those whose grave is the restless and eternal sea - may they rest in peace."
The design for this window takes the form of a landscape rising from the sea and moving upwards to the skies. The eye is drawn through the window by soft floating triangular shapes which emerge in the sea, move through the landscape and on through the horizon into the sky. A soft palette of natural colours has been used and details painted in. A simple white border frames the design.
