This web site features a small selection of my favourite images, mainly landscapes taken in the Brecon Beacons National Park.
I have been taking photographs for many years, but only in recent years have I taken the time and trouble to produce images carefully. My philosophy on photography has always been simple; concentrate on getting the original right, then the time spent in the darkroom is minimised.
However since switching to digital I now find I spend more time on my computer than I would like. I did, as I suspect most newcomers do, and went for the machine gun approach which fills your hard drive with second rate images. I'm now going back to my old style and starting to think more traditionaly. I have also bought a smaller memory card and nowI restrict myself to the number of images I take. Consequenlty, I now think more and tend to be more selective about my photography.
There are a number of galleries for you to browse through and also some walks in the Brecon Beacons you may find of interest.
