Barn Owl - February delight
This is the best month to catch Barn Owls Hunting in daylight, it is also a very tough month for them and wet winters can be very harsh on this bird as they are not very effective at hunting in wet conditions. I’m very pleased that Norfolk still has a vibrant population of these magnificent birds can be seen regulary at certain places during the winter months. Lets hope that this stays like this as it would be a disaster if this bird declined further.
