Barn Owls can hover like the Kestrel, they often go into a dive into the grass to snatch a vole.

Barn Owls use posts to hunt from, they often dive down to catch Voles and Mice. Watch out for them along country roads, they are often out hunting early morning and afternoon in the winter.

Barn Owls glide over the fields listening intensely for the slightest movement in the grass.

Barn Owls only live from 2-5 years in the wild on average but some can get up to 20 years.
