APRIL
12 April National Moth Night 19:30. Target species: Orange Upperwing and Swordgrass, both of which are BAP Priority Species. Meet on the Heightington Road just south of Bewdley - No access onto this road from Bewdley by-pass. OS Map 138 SO779738. Leaders: Rosemary Winnall/Corinna and Neil Gregory. NB please send your moth records from National Moth Night by 30 April to Neil Gregory for submission to Atropos.

21 June Wyre Forest visitor centre. Introduction to moths by Tony Davis of BC HQ. Please see entry in butterfly etc. diary for details.

29 June Wyre Forest visitor centre 10.00am—4.00 pm. Moth indentification training course by Dave Grundy, using the catch from overnight moth traps. SO749740

JULY
5 July Knapp and Papermill. Meet at the site entrance at 11.00am. GR SO752521. Target species Red-belted & Six-belted Clearwing n.b. sunny weather permitting. Also a second site may be possible for the afternoon. Leader Neil and Corinna Gregory.

5 July Grafton Wood 20:30. Meet at 3 Parishes Hall by the church, Flyford Flavell, off A422 Worcester to Stratford road. NB strong boots essential as there will be a walk to the site. OS Map 150 SO963557. Leaders: Corinna and Neil Gregory
