8th March (Saturday) - Conservation work - Prees Heath
09:30 am to 1:00 pm. Scrub clearance on the old runway to improve
the heathland habitat.
This is a special event to coincide with Butterfly Conservation’s 40th
Anniversary.
Note the earlier start time. The work party finishes at lunchtime, when all the
volunteers are invited to enjoy a free lunch courtesy of Butterfly Conservation
at The New Raven Café near the northern end of the reserve.

9th March (Sunday) - Conservation work - Grafton Wood
Meet 10:00 am at Three Parishes Hall, Grafton Flyford (next to the
church). Just off the A422 Worcester to Stratford road.
Tools are provided but bring lunch/drinks and gardening gloves. Work to be
carried out on coppice plots
and ride maintenance.

15th March (Saturday) - Conservation event for Wood White
The first part of this will be an indoor meeting, near Worcester,
with a morning session covering the ecology
of the species and an afternoon session looking at management regimes.
There will be a follow-up outdoor meeting on Saturday 17th May to see how a
management regime is
working on the ground.
