Since being established in 1991, Southside has grown numerically and Spiritually, and is now a very busy church reaching out to many people with the love of Jesus as well as helping to make disciples of Him. From the start, Southside was designed to offer a modern, vibrant and relevant way to explore Christianity, to worship God, and to benefit the community we live in.

We meet each week in Belmont Academy for our main worship service. The style is relaxed but reverent. Worship is led by one of our praise bands. Much of the music is contemporary, though we also use some of the best Christian worship from previous generations. We will sometimes have drama, input from our children or young people, an interview or a film clip and then a 20 – 30 minute message. (more)

Adult Outreach golf days

help build relationships with non-Christians in a non-threatening and friendly environment partnered with Christians in a competitive team event. During the round of 3 to 4 hours there is plenty of opportunity to chat together and watch the successes, failures and the frustrations we all face. Followed by a meal, prize giving and short bible based talk, relevant to the game of golf. After 4 years this is now firmly established part of our ministry.

Junior Golf School

has for the past the years been an annual event for boys and girls aged 8-13 years of age. Providing three days of 3-hour sessions of golf. Two days of tuition with PGA qualified professionals with a “bible spot” break. This is held in a park with a marquee, driving nets and artificial putting greens. On the third day we have a competitive game of golf over a par 3 course.
