North Devon College Handicap Tournament

The tournament concluded the 13 week coaching course and finished with two hard fought finals in restricted and advanced singles events, won by Elizabeth Gwynn and Matt Rhymer.  Full results can be found by clicking the link to ‘Senior Tournaments’

With the season now closed, the league has been concluded with Braunton dominating  1st Division Mixed, Medley, Ladies and Mens leagues.  Also finishing top in 2nd Division Mixed and Medley.

 

3rd Division Mixed and Medley going to Torrington and Halwill respectively.

 

4th Division Medley convincingly won by Morwenstow Village.

 

Anyone seeking league Badminton next season should click the link to ‘Clubs in North Devon’ and contact their nearest club, brief details are given, but clubs would welcome your call for more info.

 

The new season starts in September but all members must be signed up to their clubs before August 22nd, as team are submitted to the league by this date.  Leagues will be formed on 4th September, based on the teams submitted by the clubs and they will then convene to arrange individual team fixtures on 17th September from 7:00pm at the North Devon Leisure Centre.

Devon County squad trials
