COACHES TO SHOWS
The easy way for you and your cat to travel to the door of the show hall with no parking worries. On the journey you can chat to friends, move around and stretch your legs, have a cup of coffee, or just sleep.
The Northern Counties Cat Club organises coaches to some all-breed shows - and others if they attract enough support. Non-members are also welcome to travel. You don't need to take a cat - you could just go for a good day out.
The coaches we use are comfortable and warm, with reclining seats, possibly a toilet and hot drinks facilities on long trips. Pick-ups are from Newcastle Central Station, Washington Services on the A1, and other places en route if practical.
Book your seats early - when you send off your show entry - either at one of our social meetings or by phone. You will need to book one seat per person and one for your cat, but if your cat box is very large (more than 18 inches long) it may take up more than one seat. A £5 deposit per seat is required and the balance is payable on the return journey.
