Due to our volunteers  having other commitments we have been unable to run any gigs recently but after a break of 2 years North Shropshire Folk is up and running again. Please see our coming events page to see some of the top performers we are lining up for your enjoyment

            Run on a totally voluntary and non-profit making basis, by a small group of like minded souls, whose youthful musical persuasions were more firmly rooted in the late sixties and early seventies rock era and late seventies punk scene, prior to discovering the rich and varied musical feast of the British and Irish folk circuit.

            Not so much a folk club, more a keen band of enthusiasts, dedicated to promoting live folk music via periodical gigs in the Whitchurch area, featuring some of the most talented new names, as well as long established and highly respected acts on the current folk scene.
           
           Following our formation, we have been privileged to present a programme of quality entertainment, and as you can see from our 'past events page' have succeeded in promoting the very best in World Folk Music

            We pride ourselves on being a people friendly group and value the support and encouragement we have received so far, from both audiences and performers alike. 

            With your continued support, we look forward to promoting many more evenings of quality folk music in the Whitchurch area.

Events are held at the Whitchurch Leisure Centre, usually about 4 times a year.
