The Dundas Arms, Kintbury (3.3m)

Pub-website About five miles from Newbury near the station level crossing and canal bridge.
A pub cum restaurant that serves excellent bar meals (but no sandwiches) and has a quite expensive restaurant. The bar meals are good value for money, being cooked by the restaurant chef. The draught beer is always in good condition.

From The Dundas, take the canal towpath towards Hungerford for 700yds, crossing the canal by the second bridge. On joining the road, go L then R at the top of the hill for Inglewood. In 400yds, turn L on the FP in front of Kintbury Farm, and follow this till you reach the metalled lane from Kintbury to St Ossians. Go SO on a path to a gate into the woods and go through these until you meet a crossing path just the other side of the woods. Bear L uphill then down to cross a stream and up again to join a farm lane at a corner. Go L on this, and turn L in 200yds to go downhill towards Titcomb Manor. In front of this, take a FP to the right. This drops through fields, crosses a stream, and eventually passes between larchlap garden fences before meeting the High Street in Kintbury near The Blue Ball (another possible starting and finishing point). Go R then L for the church, in front of which is a FP that goes towards the pub.
