Welcome !

The North Queensferry Pet Dog Training School (NQFPDTS) was created when dog owners in North Queensferry & Rosyth realised there was a need for a local dog training school.

The North Queensferry Community centre is an ideal location and the NQFPDTS has become a valued resource in the North Queensferry area.

Where and When ...

Costs & Charges ...

Classes are held every Monday evening.

The Community Centre

Queen Margaret Playing Fields

Brock street North Queensferry

6:30pm to 7:30pm Puppies (up to 12 months old)

7:30pm to 8:30pm Juniors

8:30 to 9:30 Seniors

The current cost of training is £3 per dog per class. After payment of hall charges the remaining cash is donated to Help Fife Animals (HFA).

So as well as training your dog you will also be supporting a very worthwhile charity.

The school also raises money for the HFA by holding “Companion & Novelty” Dog Shows.

The school is Kennel Club listed and the training is based on the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme (GCDS).

Puppies start with the Puppy Assessment Course and then move on to the GCDS Bronze, Silver & Gold standards. These tests are held throughout the year.

An outline of the training is given in the Training section.

There is no requirement to sign up for a course, you attend when you can for as long as you wish. Several of the regular attendees have come to the classes for over four years and not only train their dogs but enjoy the company of others interested in dogs.
