entertained British Chemical Works Newport and won 9-0. The goals were score by

On Saturday they are away to Caerleon, Kick-off at 3 pm Referee, P Turner.

IMPROVEMENT SOCIETY.
Mr Arthur Blacklege presided at Henllys Improvement Society’s meeting on Wednesday, when Mr. H. M. Hughes, the Schoolmaster, gave an address on “One of the Seven Modern Wonders.” Messrs C. M. Williams, C. Stephens, J. Stephens, Reg. Roberts, Harold Marsh and Thomas Jones and Miss Lorna Stephens also spoke.
DANCE-
A dance was held
at the Unionist Hall in aid of Castell-y-Bwch Football Club. Mr Charles Bayliss
was the M.C.
Messrs W Doyle and Reg Talbot were door stewards.
Refreshments were supervised by Mesdames J. Adams, T Adams, C Baylis, T Cooper,
and R Talbot.
