Sec by Mr M Robins. That the next Fete meeting will be held on the 21st October 1968.

Prop by Mr F Banfield Sec by Mrs Calder that meeting would be held at 7.30pm prompt.

It was decided to have cards printed and sent out to members notifying them of the meeting.

Mr G Roderick has had permission from the committee to borrow the tables and trestles for a children's party 23rd August 1968 at Ty Coch and Greenwillows, also the Gwent Motor Co can borrow some stalls on the 24th August1968 but have to be returned by the 30th August for the children's sport.

Henllys children, and children that have moved out of the village,allowed to enter the sports.

Sports to be held at the Dorallt field

Mr M Robins to get the sacks.

D Williams to go to Joyce's of Newport to get prizes for the sports.

Entrance fee. Adults 6d. Children free.

Sec by M Robins. No beer.

D Williams to get book of Bingo tickets. Mr F Banfield Squash & Crisps and boxes of sweet.

It was decided by the committee that if it is raining the sports would be cancelled and held the following Saturday.

It has also been left to Mr A Samuel to get the Tortoise stove and pipe for the Hall.

The balance of the Fete was discussed. £93.19.6d was made.

All agreed that the Fete was successful and Mr Lloyd stated that everybody worked hard.

To write to. Mr Carter Security officer Girlings for the Tent and Stewart badges.

Mr Carr Transport foreman Girlings for the lorry.

Mr Lloyd Tug O War team Girlings. Mr W Hill Machine Cottage for the field.

Mrs G Price Brooklands Farm, Mr D Owen 60 Markham Cres. Oakfield for judging the Tug O War team.

Sec by W Lloyd. That a donation of £5 be sent to the Rogerstone Band. All in favour.

It was suggested by Mr A Samuel that a trip to Porthcawl to the fireworks display instead of sports but after much discussion it was decided to have the sports on the 31st august 1968
