CHILDREN'S PARTY.

This will be held on January 3rd.

A special meeting will be held on Tuesday Dec 16th to discuss the party with the ladies entertainers.

NEW HALL.

A letter was received and read from Banbury's regarding the possible new Hall. The letter stated that unless an order was received by December 31st 1969 there would be 21/2percent increase owing to rising cost.

OTHER BUSINESS.

Mr F Banfield requested that a stores shed be built, but after much debating, during which Mr D Hurley proposed that the prefabs be advertised for sale. Mr Banfield withdrew his request.

Special meeting held at the Hall in conjunction with the Ladies Committee to discuss the children's party. Tuesday 16th December 1969

Ladies committee:- Mrs A Davies, Mrs J Evans, Mrs W Lloyd.

The children's party was arranged for January 3rd but to enable all the children to attend it is now to be held on January 10th 1970/

Mrs L Saunders will purchase goods. Ham, sausages, fruit, ice -cream etc. All ladies of both committee to make cakes. The ladies to meet at the Hall at 1.30pm afternoon of the party to prepare for the party to commence at 3.0'clock

Mr D Hurley will be Father Christmas and each child will be given a gift valued at 3/-

Children of school age and under living in the village will be invited. Invitations are also extended to children of both committees not living in the parish.

The Ladies committee will entertain the children for approx. 1 hour. There will also be party games. All cost of the party, food, gifts, payment for pianist will be shared by the two committee, that is, each will pay half the cost.

OTHER BUSINESS.

Mr F Richards proposed that a get well card and basket of fruit be sent to Mrs Gwen Roderick who has been ill for some time.

Mrs R Lloyd proposed that a card and flowers be sent to Miss Margaret Richards who is in hospital due to a motoring accident
