AGM held at the Hall February 25th 1970

CHILDREN'S PARTY.
The ladies entertainers committee paid £10.10s.0d towards the cost of the party.
AGM.
The minutes of the last annual meeting were read.
All officers were elected as follows.
Chairman. Mr F Richards. Prop by F Banfield.

TREASURER'S REPORT.
Amount in hand in 1969 £384.10s 0d.
Balance at time of meeting 1970 £590.7s.1d.
This past year total made £200. This is due to Tote tickets.
Rate for the Hall have doubled sine last year Mr F Richards to query this with Mr Gwynne. Unless a satisfactory answer is given we will appeal against the increase.
NEW HALL.
It was proposed by Mr D Williams. Sec by Mr F Richards that planning permission is obtained for the new Hall. I will write to Banbury's to make sure that plans we have at present are all we need and are correct.
Mr D Hurley suggested having the site surveyed, he could arrange for someone to come to do the job.
ANNUAL DINNER.
Mr F Richards will make a short speech to explain to the people the achievements and aims of the committee.
A toast to the Queen will be made.

OTHER BUSINESS.
Mr D Williams proposed . Sec by Mr F Richards that a vote of thanks to the auditors Mrs Banfield and Mrs B Samuel. They will be given a box of chocolates.
Mr D Williams and Mr & Mrs P Saunders will attend a sale at Blackwood for trestle and card tables.
