OAP DINNER. The Coed Eva Ladies will entertain with G Appleby and A Carpenter playing during the interval.

NEW HALL Mr A Davies has submitted all forms to Dept of Education & Science to apply for a grant. Copies of the deeds to be submitted to the Charity Commissioner.

We made £9 27 on the Mr & Mrs Night.

The Fete to be held 17th July was discussed .

The Hall's boiler has been repaired.

Mrs R Lloyd expressed thanks on behalf of the family of Mrs Woods for sympathy received.

Profit on the Fete. £155.78. Children's sport to be held September 11th at the school's field.

A group will meet every Friday to practice their guitar. Mr G Appleby will be in charge. They will be charged 7/6 and hour for hire of Hall.

NEW HALL. Rogers and Way are anxious about the new Hall as prices are rising. Mr A Davies secretary of the Mon Rural Community Council to be contacted for information in regards to the grant.

The children's sport. A lost of £13.20.

Hall funds. At present it stands as £1,199.

Whist Drive was discussed. Prop by D Williams and Sec by Mrs R Lloyd that we have 1 doz card tables made at £2 each. The same people also proposed that we do not lend our card tables to anyone in the future.

Christmas draw was discussed with the same people as last year donating the prices.

WEEKLY TOTE.

During the last few weeks the Tote has been considerably lower than at any time.

Prop by D Williams,

Sec by F Banfield. That the Tote should cease from next week.

An amendment was prop by G Bibby and Sec by Mrs R Lloyd that it should be given another months trial. The amendment was carried 8 votes to 2. Mrs V Williams will be asked to resume the selling of Tote tickets.

TOTE

Mrs Williams has resume selling Tote tickets as requested by the Hall's committee.

New lock is required for the main door. Mr M Robbins will see to this.

Annual dinner will be discussed at the next meeting and also the possibility of running our own bar.

TRUSTEE. Due to the death of Mr D Jones, a new trustee has been nominated. By a unanimous decision Mr J Harris was elected.

Whist Drive. £33.10 profit.

Hall Funds . Mr Williams has been looking further into investing our money. Although in the last month meeting we decide to invest in the Building Society it now appears that they will deduct tax. The next best thing is to purchase National Savings Bond.

HALL DEEDS. Mr Reg Williams is dealing with the deeds and will register us with the Charity Commission.

NEW HALL.

It appears that due to a new policy we will not receive any grant for the Hall until April 1st 1973, but we may able to build before the end of this year. The local authority have to submit the amount they will give us and then the Dept of Ed & SCE will double it.

ANNUAL DINNER

Invitations to :- Mr and Mrs A Davies, County Councillor Mr Reg Watkins and Mrs Watkins, and also complimentary tickets to Mr and Mrs J Williams.

Committee male members to paint and paper the hall before the dinner. It was suggested that the committee run their own bar. It was also suggested that Mr D Hurley would be interested in running the bar. Entertainment will be booked through the agency. £25 to be spent on singer and comedian.

ANNUAL DINNER.

Entertainment has been arranged. Still struggling to get permission to run our own bar. Mr J Harris to make further enquires.

If we all agree to putting the money into Savings Bonds Mr J Harris agrees to put his name on the form.

The men will meet Sunday to paint the ceiling of the Hall.
