New Members

The band are always looking for new members. Tuition is provided - no experience is necessary! If you're interested in joining, why not pop in to one of our practices?

North Tyneside Pipe Band compete regularly at competitions run by the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association. We have made many appearances throughout the UK, as well as France, Germany, Belgium and Holland.

In addition to competitions, the band have several other engagements throughout the year. If you are interested in hiring the band, a solo piper, or perhaps a mini-band, then get in touch

We are funded by contributions from members of the public and band members' own contributions, although recently we were provided with aid through the "Awards for all" scheme:
