Carer’s Allowance

Carer's allowance is a weekly benefit for someone caring for a person who is severely disabled.

They do not have to live together or be related.

The person cared for must get disability living allowance (DLA)

care component (highest or middle rate), attendance allowance or constant attendance allowance.
