Housing benefit is an income-related benefit to help people to pay their housing costs.
Housing Benefit is paid weekly in the form of
......rent rebates to local authority tenants
......rent allowances to private rented and housing association tenants
To be eligible for housing benefit, a client must:-
......have capital and income below a certain amount (unless you are entitled to thre guarantee part of pension credit)
......be liable to pay for your accommodation
...... occupy the accommodation as your home
......have the right to reside in the UK and pass the habitual residence test
